Personally, I’m a mother, a wife, and a dog lover.
Professionally, I'm a Peabody-Award-winning television series writer and producer. My unique career spans one-hour dramas, unscripted series, VR, and gaming.
I'm developing new scripted series for Starz, FX, and Universal UK. My drama credits include writing/producing the historic blockbuster first season of Fox's Empire and debut seasons for The Rookie Feds, Prodigal Son, Station 19, Nashville, Revenge, and Justified.
Known as a champion for diversity and inclusion, I've developed and sold over ten series pitches with bold leading roles for women and people of color.
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I'm an honored alumnus of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and serve on the Board of Directors for the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.
